Phone Battery Maintenance

Batteries last the longest if you maintain a charging level between 50 and 80%. Letting them drain to 0% or charging to 100% put more strain on them. A battery has about 1250 full charge cycles in it's useful life. The article below points out that you should NOT put a cheap battery in your phone. Use original manufacturer's batteries only. Here's an interesting article about battery dangers.  I find it interesting that before each airplane flight, tight security procedures are targeting explosive devices.  Then they open the gates and allow 150 explosive devices to board in the form of each passenger's smartphone.
