This has been out there for a while but the alarming thing is that Samsung has chosen to do nothing.

Here are some tips to limit your exposure to phone hackers:
1. stay off of unsecured WiFi networks. If it isn't password protected, don't use it.
2. keep your phone set on "automatic updates" in your settings. Many of the updates are to close security holes.
3. don't use your phone as the primary storage of any of your documents, photos, or other data. Back your data up to a cloud site and keep the data stored on your phone to a minimum.
4. Don't store bank account or credit card data on your phone.
