Customer Service - Use Your BRAIN

How many times have you been asked to supply information that can be easily gotten off the internet?  Today I had to order a replacement part for a medical device.  I told them to ship it to my pharmacy and gave them the name and address.  They asked for the phone number.  I don't have their phone number handy.  They said they needed the phone number.  I told them I didn't have it.  They were stuck.  I asked them where they might go to find the phone number since I don't have it.  No reply.  I finally said "let me Google that for you".  I looked up the pharmacy and read them the number.

Why, why WHY can't people think for a moment before asking for silly information they can easily get themself?

OK - end of soap box.  But my commitment to MY customers is that these kinds of things are eliminated while you are in my store.  Just simple, straight forward, easy and delightful customer service.  Combine that with the best prices in town and it makes us an easy destination for your phone repair, computer repair, and tablet repair needs.
